Wedding Prep Weekend Part 2

Whew. Nakakapagod na araw na naman para sa amin ni Miguel.
Ginalugad na naman namin ang Kamaynilaan para maghanap ng akmang simbahan at wedding venue para sa aming nalalapit na kasal.

Wedding update nga pala: Change of plan kami ni Miguel. In previous blog entries, I've mentioned that we would be getting married in Sto. Tomas, Batangas. However, since most suppliers will be coming from Manila and almost all have add on service charge for out-of-town occassions, we wouldn't be savings much in the long run. Besides, all visitors will be coming from Manila. Why travel when we can just all be here in Manila.

Anways, tuloy natin ang kwento. Since I havent posted much pictures in my blog, I've decided to share some of the churches and venues that we've visited. Comments would definitely be appreciated in order for me to assess kung ano nga ba talaga ang maganda't sulit sa mga options namin.

First stop, sa Glass Garden along Evangelista St in Santolan, Pasig City. Maganda ang venue. Very ideal for those who want an outdoor feel to their wedding but are just too scared to risk being rained on. Kaya lang, katambal ng magandang ambiance, syempre, mahal. =)

Next stop, The Mango Farm. I love this place! And talk about convenience, halos katabing subdivison lang namin ang location niya. Very ideal for those who want a hardcore garden wedding. Very romantic ang dating with all the mango trees sorrounding you. Unfortunately, di pa din pasok sa budget namin.

Third option, the Fr. Mark Horan Hall located inside the compound of the Mr.Carmel Churcn in New Manila. Its not as popular and as "dreamy" as the first two venues but the price is quite reasonable. And its just 10 steps away from the church which makes it very convenient especially for the guest.

So far, these are just some of the places that we've visited. Hopefully, we would have more and more options so that Miguel and I can finally decide where to have our much awaited wedding =)
